Rafael Morales (47), a celebrated Spanish opera singer, returns to his
mountainous village in Southern Spain for a short visit, only to be
confronted the very next morning with the sudden suicide of his cousin Miguel (49). What follows is a growing suspicion that his return may have triggered the tragedy, as he searches for his place in what has happened, drawn to the thought that it must exist.
